The airline currently flies four times on the sector. Issuing a press statement Wednesday, the airline said it would start its fifth flight on the sector from March 29. [break]
The airline will fly Airbus A330 on the route. James Hogan, CEO of Eithad, expressed hope that the new flight would open up new opportunities for people.
Adventure Travel Mart kicks off
KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Asia Pacific level Adventure Travel Mart kicked off at the sidelines of PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference and Mart 2010 in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Sharat Singh Bhandari inaugurated the mart amidst a function. A total of 30 travel and tour operators from 21 destinations in the region have displayed their stalls in the mart.
“The mart will provide forum for buyers and sellers in the region to foster business linkages and share experience and information,” Pawan Tuladhar, chairman of PATA Nepal Chapter, said.
Andrew Jones of Sanctuary Resorts, Hong Kong said the conference has provided an opportunity to share experience between travel and tours professionals in the region.
“We have been getting positive feedbacks as there has been growing awareness about responsible tourism among consumer travelers," Jones told a media briefing organized ahead of the mart.
Prime Bank in Sindhuli
KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Prime Commercial Bank on Wednesday opened its new branch in Sindhuli.
With this new addition, the number of branches in the bank´s network has reached 11. "The bank is committed to expand its branch network in coming days to facilitate depositors and costumers though continued services," the bank said in a statement.
The statement further added that the bank was opening more branches in the near future to cater quality services to its customers.
