BUSINESS BRIEFS: Asian Thai distributes medicines

KATHMANDU, Mar 8: Asian Thai Foods, the manufacturer of Rum Pum noodles - Monday distributed anti-viral medicine for Swine Flu to about 6,000 people of of Semlar VDC in Rupandehi district.



Issuing a press statement, Asia Thai Foods said the program was organized by Butwal Jaycees to minimize the risk of Swine Flu among the local people. [break]



The company has also announced that it would organize similar programs in the coming days.





HR Meet on March 26



KATHMANDU, Mar 8: Growth Seller Pvt Ltd is organizing HR Meet 2010 with the theme HR Leadership-The Six Sigma Way.



Participants from various sectors of business and non-profit organizations are taking part in the annual event to be organized in the capital on March 26.



Issuing a press statement, the company said that more than 200 participants are expected to attend the one-day program that includes speech sessions from leadership consultant, bankers, businessmen, and Six Sigma consultants.





Kumari Bank´s training for women



KATHMANDU, Mar 8: Kumari Bank Limited on Monday conducted skill-oriented training for its women customers on the occasion of International Women´s Day.



Issuing a press statement, the company said it conducted cookery training for women who have Suvha Laxmi Bachat Khata at the bank. The training centered on using electric stove and microwave oven, the statement added.



The program was conducted at United World Trade Center, Tripureshwar.
