KATHMANDU, May 17: The new session of the Federal Parliament is set to commence from today.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari, on the May 8 recommendation of the Council of Ministers, summoned the new session for Tuesday.
The meeting has been called at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor, at 4:00 PM on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota on Monday reached the Federal Parliament Building and took information about the preparation of the House of Representatives meeting, said Sapkota's press expert Shreedhar Neupane.
Similarly, Speaker Sapkota has called the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee for 2:30 PM today. The meeting of the Business Advisory Committee would make decisions on various issues including the agenda of the meeting.
Government's policy and program and budget would be presented in this session of the federal parliament as it is also the budget session.
