Brigade Boys registers first victory in ongoing A 'division' league football

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: The Brigade Boys beat the Armed Police Force (APF) Club in today's match held under the ongoing Martyrs' Memorial 'A' division league football championship, registering its first victory.

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: The Brigade Boys beat the Armed Police Force (APF) Club in today's match held under the ongoing Martyrs' Memorial 'A' division league football championship, registering its first victory. 


In the match held at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA)'s ground at Satdobato, the Brigade Boys defeated the departmental team APF 3 goals to 1, thus collecting three points in the point chart. Manoj Rai, Tazudeen Adulune and Kazeem Adelzoke scored the goals for their team creating the moment for the celebration.

Till the 59th minute of the match, both teams played a draw and APF's Rup Bahadur Lama's opening goal in the 60th minute of the match took the team to a lead and it was neutralized by a goal by Brigade Boy's Manoj in less than three minutes of Lama's goal. His kick from around 20 yards straight away hit the net. Similarly, one more goal for the team came in the 69th minute, with Tazudeen scoring a goal and Kazeem adding another goal in the 75th minute. 


In the 89th minute of the match, the APF was limited to 10 players as Biswas Udas got a red card for a fault. The APF has so far four points in its account.
