According to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), minimum and maximum temperatures dropped on Saturday, despite the sunny day, making the valley denizens look for more warm clothes. [break]
The valley´s minimum temperature plunged to 0.8 degree Celsius while maximum temperature stood at 18.2, less by almost one degree Celsius compared to just two days back.
Weather experts at the MFD say the mean temperature is likely to drop further in the days ahead, for there are still no traces of winter rain yet.
Thanks to the delay in winter rain, the denizens have been increasingly suffering from the chill for the last few days.
