BERLIN, Aug 23: Wolfsburg says Brazilian defender Dante is leaving to join French side Nice.
Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs says "we would have liked to have seen Dante remain as part of our squad, but we granted his wish to gain some further experience."

The Bundesliga club didn't give details of the transfer fee.
The 32-year-old Dante, who joined Wolfsburg from Bayern Munich last season, will be reunited with former Borussia Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre in Nice.
Dante spent three seasons at Bayern after leaving 'Gladbach and went on to make 23 league appearances for Wolfsburg. He has made 13 appearances for Brazil.
Also Monday, Darmstadt signed Tunisia midfielder Anis Ben-Hatira from league rival Eintracht Frankfurt.
