With the win, Mahabir avoided relegation, whereas Tusal now only has a mathematical chance of getting promoted to A division.[break]

Santosh Rai was the hero for Mahabir as he scored two goals in the last three minutes of the match.

Earlier, Shyam Babu Magar had given an early lead to Tusal in the second minute of the match and Pravas Lama doubled it by the sixth minute. However, Santosh Thapa scored in the 34th minute for Mahabir and Basudev Pun leveled the score three minutes later.

Sunny Lama scored in the 60th minute to put Tusal in front again, but Santosh Ghale´s goal in the 75th minute leveled the scores once again.

In a thrilling finish, Santosh Rai struck home in the 87th and the last minute of the match to seal an unlikely victory for Mahabir.

Mahabir lies in the 10th position with 15 points from 13 matches. Tusal, which was playing its last match, is in the third spot with 24 points from 14 matches. Birgunj Youth Academy, which has 24 points from 12 matches, lies in the second position while Sankata Club occupies the top spot with 27 points from 13 matches.

Narayan Dhimal scored in the fifth minute for Samajik but Bikash Rai found the equalizer a minute later. Santosh Shrestha scored the winner for Samajik in the 41st minute.
