KAPILVASTU, Dec 2: A bomb went off targeting the mass meeting addressed by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at Pakadi of Mayadevi Rural Municipality in Kapilbastu district on Saturday.
A huge blast occurred immediately after the Maoist Center Chairman completed his address to the mass meeting this afternoon organized by the left alliance. The blast was some 100 meters away from the stage of the mass meeting.
Bomb targeting PM diffused
Police said that no human casualty has been reported in the incident. After the blast, the people panicked and ran away from the venue.
On Friday, three bombs had exploded in the district.
Meanwhile, Chief District Officer of Kapilvastu Madan Bhujel said that the security personnel have been deployed in a large number to conduct the polls in a fearless manner. RSS
