Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi visiting Nepal with family on December 14

Kathmandu, Dec 8: Bollywood actor Vivek Anand Oberoi will arrive in Kathmandu, accompanied by his family, on December 14 for a week-long stay in Nepal.

Kathmandu, Dec 8: Bollywood actor Vivek Anand Oberoi will arrive in Kathmandu, accompanied by his family, on December 14 for a week-long stay in Nepal.


He released a video message saying that he will visit Nepal with his parents, wife Priyanka Alva, son Vivaan and daughter Ameya. Expressing his excitement about the Nepal tour, Oberoi said that he will attend a meet and greet program in Lumbini– the birthplace of Lord Buddha.

He said that he is looking forward to visiting places including Everest Base Camp, Pokhara, Lumbini and Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. Oberoi believes that his visit to Nepal will help promote Nepal's tourism.


“After my visit to Nepal, I will suggest others to visit and experience Nepal as well," he said.


“India has a beautiful and strong relationship with Nepal. We are like Nepalis and Nepalis are like us,” Oberoi said in his video message, “I am about to visit Nepal remembering the love my Nepali audiences have given me in 20 years of my acting career.”


Oberoi, who made his Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma's gangster drama Company in 2002, that won him two Filmfare Awards, has been recently seen in the movie ‘PM Narendra Modi’, a biopic of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Oberoi, 46, rose to fame for his role as ‘Kaal’, the antagonist in ‘Krish 3’, a 2013 movie starring filmstars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut.
