KATHMANDU, April 24: Social activist Bishnu Gautam has been honored with the ‘Nagarik Nayak’ (citizen hero) award by Nepal Republic Media amid a special event organized on the occasion of the organization's 14th anniversary, held at Basantapur Durbar Square today.

Gautam has established an organization called Laxmi Academy to educate children who cannot afford education otherwise.
