BIRGUNJ (PARSA), Oct 19: The dry port customs office at Sirsiya, Birgunj has collected revenue of Rs 12.7 billion in the first three months of the current Fiscal Year (FY). The collection is 21.25 percent revenue of the total annual target.
Chief Customs Officer of the dry port customs office, Dhan Bahadur Baruwal, said the revenue collection has decreased by Rs. 250 million compared to the corresponding period of last year.

In the first month of the current year, i.e. Shrawan (mid-July to mid-August), the office collected 79.28 percent of the monthly target, 88.50 percent in second month or Bhadra (mid-August to mid-September) and 90.31 percent in the third month or Asoj (mid-September to mid-October).
According to the dry port customs office, during the first three months of the last fiscal year, revenue worth Rs 13.1 billion had been collected.
