BIPPA agreement with India should be scrapped: Chand

CHITWAN, July 25: Secretary of the CPN-Maoist, Netra Bikram Chand, has said that an all-party round table conference and interim unity government is suitable and objective alternative at present.



At a press meet organized in Bharatpur on Wednesday, after the conclusion of a second full meeting of the National People´s Volunteers Centre, Chand blamed that the government has further intensified the political crisis.[break]



He said that there would be unity with any communist party and not only with the UCPN (Maoist), if they involve themselves in revolution for people´s democracy forwarded by the CPN-Maoist.



Chand, also the In-charge of the Centre, said the meeting also demanded that the BIPPA agreement signed by the government with India be scrapped.



Chand said the Centre has been working in the sector of service for the people, development works and security.
