SURKHET, Jan 19: The Biplav led Nepal Communist Party-Revolutionary set two trucks on fire for not abiding by the general strike it had called today.
The Biplav led party had called for a general strike in Surkhet demanding the release of its cadres.
Locals block tipper trucks for damaging roads
The two trucks, Bhe 6 Kha 7213 and Na 6 Kha 1732 were torched at Bheri Ganga municipality-2 and Baraha Tal Rural Municipality, according to the police. On January 6, police had arrested two cadres of the party, Govinda Yogi and Kamal Budha for abducting a businessman of Birendranagar and demanding ransom.
