The new edition incorporates the latest news from Chaudhary’s life after 2013, such as his endeavor to connect Indian leader Narendra Modi’s godson Jeet Bahadur with his parents in Nepal. For his efforts, Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude to Chaudhary.
Publisher Kiran Shrestha from nepa~laya stated that stories from Nepal like that of the business tycoon needed to be available for international readers, and that’s why the English edition was brought forward.
The English translation was done by journalist Sanjeev Ghimire who unfortunately passed away before seeing his work published.
‘Binod Chaudhary – My Story: From the streets of Kathmandu to a billion dollar empire’ takes readers from Chaudhary’s early days as a young student in Gana Bahal, his time as a singer and a filmmaker, and then leading the business community at FNCCI, and beyond.
The book is priced at Rs 675.
