Bihar visit to seek support from relatives: UDMF leaders

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Defending their meeting with president of Rashtriya Janata Dal Lalu Prasad Yadav, the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) leaders on Wednesday said that the visit was meant to seek support from the relatives.

Speaking at Reporters' Club in Kathmandu, the UDMF leaders also said that the meeting with Yadav was a part of UDMF decision to let the world know about their concerns. The leaders also said that they are mulling to change nature of the protests.

The prolonged protests have affected the Tarai people must, the UDMF leaders said.
