KATHMANDU, Nov 11: The fifth edition of women's and sixth edition of men's National Beach Volleyball Tournament will be held at Sunkoshi River's bank, Dolalghat, from November 30 to December 3.
Organizing a press conference in the capital on Friday, Nepal Volleyball Association informed that the event will feature eight teams including five regional and three departmental teams.
Each participating teams will be eligible to field two teams in the event to be held under league-cum-knockout format.
Both the men's and women's events will see participation of 16 teams each.
Kavre District Volleyball Association has shouldered the responsibility of tournament management.
The top three finishers in either category will bag purse of Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
Armed Police Force is the defending champion of both men's and women's section.
Departmental teams dominate beach volleyball
