Bagmati A wins blind cricket

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Bagmati B recorded a 12-run win over Bagmati A in a T-20 Friendly Blind Cricket match played at Pulchowk Cricket Ground to mark the 24th International Disability Day on Monday. Batting first, Bagmati B scored 159 runs losing three wickets in 20 overs with Pradeep Khadka scoring 51 runs and Sant Bahadur Pahari adding 48 runs.

Similarly, Bikram Rana added 20 runs for Bagmati B. Anand Pandey, Sunil Thapa Magar and Kritan Shrestha claimed a wicket each for Bagmat A that managed only 147 runs losing six wickets in reply, despite Kritan Shrestha scoring 57 runs and Besh Bahadur Rana contributing 16 runs.

Player-of-the-match Pradeep Khadka and Bikram Rana bagged two wickets each, while Bharat Thapa and Badri Chapagain claimed a wicket each to restrict Bagmati A.
