KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club and Western Regional Sports Development Committee of Pokhara have registered wins in the ongoing 14th Dhorpatan Women’s Double League Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.
On the rain-hit day at the Dhorpatan Sports Club’s Sports Ground in New Buspark, Army defeated Chitwan Tigress on straight sets of 25-21, 25-18, 25-13.

In the other game, Western Region saw off the Dhorpatan on straights as well registering 25-10, 25-11, 25-9 set victory.
Even though five matches were scheduled for the day, three of those could not be played because of rain.
Four matches are scheduled to be played on Sunday with the other departmental team Nepal Police Club taking on Western Region in the first game and Police playing against Tigress in the second.
Likewise, Tigress is set to play against Dhorpatan in the third game, while the other departmental team Armed Police Force (APF) Club will face Army in the fourth.
