Govt’s ‘indifference’ to rebuild 7th century heritage draws flank


The Kasthamandap Reconstruction Campaign expressed its concerns over the government’s indifference towards the reconstruction of the historic Kasthamandap. Kasthamandap, one of the country’s world heritage site, was damaged by the eaerthquake of April 2015. The 7th century site is yet to reconstructed.



CIAA's effective role sought in stopping institutional corruption


Local business communities in Birgunj have urged the CIAA to be more proactive in preventing institutionalized corruption that is taking place at various governmental offices.   


Nine physicians deputed for providing health services to mountaineers

Kane hopeful of catching Salah in Golden Boot race


Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane remains hopeful of overhauling Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in the race for Premier League Golden Boot but is also focused on helping Spurs finish the season strongly. Kane is bidding to end the campaign as the division’s top scorer for the third time in a row, a feat no other player has managed since Arsenal’s Thierry Henry won the last of his four scoring titles in 2006.
