KATHMANDU, March 31: The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MoLESS) is making necessary arrangements to make it possible to apply for a labor permit from all 753 local levels beginning April 14.
Spokesperson at the MoLESS Dandu Raj Ghimire said that the application form can be filled through employment service centers at the local level. The decision to this effect was taken by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who also holds the portfolio of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security.

According to the MoLESS, the information about foreign employment will be delivered to the stakeholders from the local level and it will now be possible to apply for individual labor permits and re-permit for approval for foreign employment.
Spokesman Ghimire said that the capacity building work of the employment service center staff will be carried out. Prior to this, the work of labor permit was carried out from the labor offices in all the seven provinces.
