The APF’s Bhuvan Karki secured 55 runs, Sumit Maharjan 34 runs, while Sharad Bheshwakar made 15 runs. With a loss of all its 10 wickets, the TAC hit 179 runs in 39 overs.

In the beginning of the Saturday match, a controversy arose after the TAC retained its player Sompal Kami in ‘playing-11.’ Kami was reported to have failed to participate in league matches after he caught dengue. With the delay, the match was reduced to only 40 overs from 50 overs.

The tournament was contested by teams from the country’s seven provinces and three other teams that included APF, TAC and Nepal Police Club. It kicked off on October 30.
