APF, Army dominate second day

KATHMANDU, June 6: The departmental team Armed Police Force (APF) Club has maintained the top spot in the fourth RBB-NVA National Women’s Volleyball League after defeating fellow departmental team Nepal Police Club in a straight set of 3-0 on Tuesday in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, June 6: The departmental team Armed Police Force (APF) Club has maintained the top spot in the fourth RBB-NVA National Women’s Volleyball League after defeating fellow departmental team Nepal Police Club in a straight set of 3-0 on Tuesday in Kathmandu. APF registered the score of 25-22, 25-17, 25-15 in three sets to overcome Police in a match played at the National Sports Council (NSC)’s Covered Hall at Tripureshwar. APF leads the table with six points after two games and Police in on three points with a win and a defeat. Similarly, Shivam New Diamond Academy defeated Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Center in the straight set of 25-10, 25-10, 25-9 and the other departmental team Trivubhan Army Club won two games on Tuesday to take its tally to six points in three matches.
