KATHMANDU, June 23:Changba Tamang of Nuwakot, one of the seven Nepalis injured in Monday's Kabul suicide bomb attack, died on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With this, the death toll of Nepalis has reached 13.
The ministry said Tamang was seriously injured in the attack and was undergoing medical treatment at a hospital in Kabul.
Following the death, the ministry has instructed Acting Nepali ambassador to Pakistan Tirtha Raj Aryal, who has been coordinating logistics in Kabul, to do all needful for repatriation of Tamang's mortal remains.

On Wednesday afternoon, the government had airlifted five of the seven injured citizens to India for further medical treatment. Among those airlifted were Prem Bahadur Chhetri of Morang, Chet Prasad Sherchan of Myagdi, Kumar Bahadur Gurung of Gorkha, Krishna Kumar Deuja of Chitwan and Amrit Rokaya Chhetri of Surkhet.
Changba Tamang and Man Bahadur Thapa of Chitwan were scheduled to be airlifted to India by Thursday.
