KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The latest health report of Nepali Congress (NC) leader and member of the House of Representatives, Dr Chandrakant Bhandari, has shown that all his health parameters are in normal condition.
Dr Bhandari, who is undergoing treatment at the National Burns Center in Mumbai, India, underwent a successful surgery on Friday. NC leader Yograj Kandel, who is in Mumbai, shared that all the parameters of leader Bhandari are reported to be normal this morning.
The presence of carbon monoxide was found only in the lower part of leader Bhandari's lungs and is not affecting the heart, according to the doctors. He will undergo a second surgery after some time of observation.

Lawmaker Bhandari and his mother Harikala Bhandari were injured in a cooking gas cylinder leakage and explosion at their residence late evening on Wednesday. They were rushed to the Burn Hospital in Kirtipur, where Harikala died while undergoing treatment on Thursday morning.
Leader Bhandari was airlifted to the National Burns Center in Mumbai, India, for further treatment on Thursday itself.
