RUKKUM, Nov 26: Voting at Kada of Bafikot and Gausaina of Athbiskot rural municipalities have stopped after unidentified personnel poured acid on the ballot boxes. The Chief District Officer, Bansi Kumar Acharya said that details are yet to arrive from the location.

According to Acharya, 250 votes had fallen into the ballot boxes before it was torched. Security has been further tightened after the incident, the police said.
