KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Nepal has set a target of 116 runs for Malaysia in the second semifinal match of the ACC Women’s Premier Cup Cricket underway at Malaysia’s Biomass Oval.
Having won the toss, Nepal opted to bat first, posting a total of 115 runs while losing 6 wickets within the stipulated 20 overs.

The winner of this match will not only advance to the Women’s Premier Cup final but will also earn the opportunity to compete in this year’s Women’s T20 Asia Cup cricket tournament.
In the first semifinal, the UAE edged past Thailand by 4 runs, securing a place in the final match.
Should Nepal emerge victorious against Malaysia, it will mark their return to the Asia Cup after an 8-year hiatus, the last appearance being in Thailand in 2016.
