9,000 applications for landless ID card

MAKAWANPUR, April 11: More than 9,000 people from different VDCs have submitted applications for obtaining identity card of landless squatters.

Under a two-month campaign launched by Landless Problem Resolving Commission, locals of different VDCs including Manahari, Handikhola, Churiyamai, Chhatiban, Raksirang, Bhainsean and Padampokhari have filled up form for ID card. [break]



The highest numbers of forms are filled up from Manahari area, said Commission Chairperson Jyoti Rayamajhi.



The form fill-up campaign has started in Makawanpur from February 10.
