Nepalis from every walk of life are quite passionate about football. Their fandom is clearly observed during international and national matches held in jam-packed stadiums. Acknowledging the craze of football, one of the most awaited movies ‘Captain’ releases its trailer on Friday.

Narrating the story of Nepali football arena, leading actor of K-town Anmol KC is seen essaying the character of a football player. The trailer reveals the story of son (Anmol) pursuing the dream of his father as a professional footballer. Actor Saroj Khanal is seen playing the role of Anmol’s father in the movie.

Actor Prashant Tamrakar—clad in national attire is seen motivating players to win against India in SAFF Championship 2019 final denouncing the blockade imposed by India.

Actor Upasana Singh Thakuri, Sunil Thapa, Wilson Bikram Rai are featured on the leading roles. Produced by veteran actor Bhuwan KC, the movie is directed and penned by Diwakar Bhattarai.

The movie is set to hit the theaters on March 1.
