KATHMANDU, Feb 22: The Embassy of Bangladesh in Nepal is organizing a five-day Single Country Trade Fair, the ‘4th Bangladesh Expo-2018’ from Friday to Tuesday at Brikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu.
According to the press statement released by the Embassy, the event aims to further enhance the existing trade and business relations between the two countries and to introduce as well as familiarize Nepali entrepreneurs and consumers to the wide variety of products that are being produced and exported globally by Bangladesh.

It added that the expo will showcase products of entrepreneurs and renowned business houses from Bangladesh, including building and construction materials, furniture, diversified jute products, readymade garments, sarees, ladies dress, plastic products, cosmetics, ceramics/tiles, leather products, textiles, footwear, electronics items and handicrafts, among others. Selected Nepali exporters have also been invited to showcase their products at the expo with a view to promoting Nepali products in Bangladesh.
It is expected that the expo will create a platform to exchange information and ideas, and provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs of the two countries to explore B-2-B linkages for harnessing the available synergies in the areas of trade and business for mutual benefit as per the press statement.
The expo will also showcase an ‘Art Exhibition’ with the works of 23 renowned artists from Bangladesh with a view to showcasing the vibrant cultural traditions of Bangladesh. The Embassy is being assisted by event management company U Turn, Bangladesh in collaboration of Synthesis Exhibitions and Events Pvt Ltd, Nepal in organizing the expo.
