49 central members added to RPP, old leaders also returned

KATHMANDU, July 21: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has added 49 members to its Central Committee. RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden nominated 49 people as central members on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, July 21: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has added 49 members to its Central Committee. RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden nominated 49 people as central members on Thursday.


According to RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, Uddhav Poudel and Chandra Bahadur Gurung who had left the RPP have also become RPP central members. Poudel was the vice president of RPP and Gurung was the treasurer.

Similarly, the other new central members are Rajaram Shrestha, former minister Ramchandra Rai, former minister Jagat Gauchan, Toran Bahadur Gurung, Deepak Bahadur Singh and others. Deepak Bahadur Singh is a person who lost in the race for the mayorship of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City in the last local elections.


Similarly, mayor of Shivaraj Municipality, Ajay Thapa, Deputy Mayor of Ramgram Municipality, Mejkan Chaudhary, former Secretary Kedar Bahadur Adhikari and Kedar Neupane have also become central members.
