KATHMANDU, Feb 26: The 40 teams of Constituent Assembly members that are setting off for a countrywide tour to collect suggestions and recommendations from the public on the new constitution will be spending about Rs 130 million, according to Ujyaalo FM. The teams are visiting all 75 districts of the country from February 27 to March 20. Each of the 40 teams had demanded Rs 4 million for the visit but the Constituent Assembly Secretariat issued only Rs 3.3 million. Each CA member will receive Rs 41,000 as travel allowance while senior government staffers in the team will receive Rs 22,500 each, clerical staffers (Subba, Kharidar) Rs 18,000 and peons will receive Rs 16,500 each for the travel period.
