3.6-magnitude quake wakes Kathmandu early

KATHMANDU, Feb 21: The National Seismological Center (NSC), Department of Mines and Geology on Wednesday recorded a 3.6 magnitude aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake that devastated Nepal on April 25, 2015.

KATHMANDU, Feb 21: The National Seismological Center (NSC), Department of Mines and Geology on Wednesday recorded a 3.6 magnitude aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake that devastated Nepal on April 25, 2015.

Epicenter of the aftershock was Dallu Housing in Kathmandu and it occurred at 2:23 am, said Lok Bijaya Adhikari, chief of the NSC, adding that more than 489 aftershocks above 4 in magnitude occurred so far following the devastating quake. RSS
