KATHMANDU, Sept 18: State of the Map Asia 2017 is all set hold talks, discussions, workshops and networking around the free and open map of the world.
The two-day event is scheduled on September 23 and September 24 at Park Village Hotel and Resort, Budhanilkantha.

According to a press statement, State of Map Asia is an annual regional conference of Open Street Map (OSM) organized by OSM communities in Asia.
This year's conference is the third edition.The press statement added that the event aims to bring about 200 Open Mapping enthusiasts from Asia and beyond.
The event will provide an opportunity to share Knowledge and experience among mappers; expand their network; generate ideas to expand the map coverage in Asian continent.
This year, the theme of the conference is 'From creation to use of OSM data'.
