395 climbers summit Everest so far during spring

According to the Department of Tourism, among them, 153 are climbers with official permits, 235 are Sherpa support staff, and 7 are from rope-fixing teams.

KATHMANDU, May 20: A total of 395 individuals have successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest during the ongoing spring climbing season.


According to the Department of Tourism, among them, 153 are climbers with official permits, 235 are Sherpa support staff, and 7 are from rope-fixing teams.

This year, a total of 468 individuals from 47 teams have received climbing permits specifically for Everest. Including Everest, permits have been issued to 1,168 climbers from 127 teams for 27 different mountains this season.


Climbing activities are currently in full swing on Everest. Climbers from 57 countries have received permission to climb to the summit of Mount Everest.
