KATHMANDU, Feb 12: A day before the expiry of the deadline set for the political parties, the CPN-UML on Sunday submitted the list of its candidates winning the parliamentary seats under the proportional representation system to the Election Commission.

The party on Sunday picked 41 names, which includes 37 women and four men. UML Secretary Pradeep Gyawali said the party picked the candidates in accordance with the inclusive electoral policy. The party had bagged 41 seats in the parliamentary elections held in November and December.
