NUWAKOT, Oct 18: At least 30 people have been injured in a bus accident in Manakamana in Kispang Rural Municipality-5 of Nuwakot on Monday.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Tul Bahadur Karki, who is chief of the District Police Office, Nuwakot, said that three of the total 10 critically injured were rescued from a helicopter. They are taken to Kathmandu for further treatment.
The ill-fated bus (Ba 4 Kha 5762) met with an accident on its way to Kathmandu from Kispang-1 via Trishuli. Police suspect that the accident took place due to brake failure.
