Those deceased are Tulasa Bajagain of Panchami, Panchthar and Bishnumaya Singu, 30, whose address are not known as yet. [break]
Following the incident, all persons injured were taken to Panchar hospital, which later on referred five of them including a minor to the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for further treatment.
The mishap occurred while the taxi (Me 1 Ja 1088) was heading to Panchami from Phidim bazaar. Police have detained the driver and his assistant.
