HETAUDA, July 6: Two people were killed and 10 others sustained injuries in two separate vehicle accidents that occurred in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-9 and Hetauda-9 in the Makwanpur district.
The bus(Na Kha 9295) bound for Hetauda from Birgunj collided with a motorbike (Na 21 Pa 5295), resulting in the death of Susmita Oli who was riding pillion. Oli was a resident of Hetauda-14.

The police have taken the drivers of the bus and motorbike under control.
Likewise, Deepak Koirala died when the microbus (Lu 1 Ja 2023) met with an accident at Lamatar in Ward -9 of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality. Koirala was the driver of the microbus.
The accident took place when the ill-fated bus veered off the road. 10 passengers sustained injuries in the accident.
The microbus was heading toward Hetauda from Kathmandu. The injured were rushed to Hetauda Hospital for treatment. Police personnel from Area Police Office, Palung and Police Post , Simbhanjyang rescued the injured passengers.
