2 die in Mahottari bomb blast

JANAKPUR, March 7: Two people were killed when a time bomb they were carrying on a motorcycle exploded in Mahottari district Saturday afternoon. One of the dead has been identified as Binod Paswan, a resident of Sirsia village in Dhanusha.



Eastern regional commander of a little known Tarai Rastriya Mukti Sena, Aakash Tyagi, has claimed that both the deceased were his group´s workers. They were heading to Janakpur on a motorcycle (Ja 2 Pa 7393) carrying two time bombs and a Mauser (pistol), Tyagi said. Paswan alias Shaktiman was Dhanusha district chief of his group, Tyagi claimed.
