BANEPA, Dec 25: A person died in an accident that took place nearby Dhulikhel municipality-11, Kavrebhanjyang on Monday.
The accident occurred when a Dhulikhel-bound bus (Na 4 Kha 8080) from Bhakunde hit the motorbike (Ba 86 Pa 3689) coming from opposite direction.
A pillion rider died while undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel hospital, confirmed the District Police Office, Dhulikhel.
When will it end?
Superintendant of Police (SP) Sahakul Thapa shared that the deceased is yet to be identified while the motorbike rider had sustained minor injuries.
It is learnt that the deceased took a lift in motorbike from Kathmandu.
Police took control the bus driver and motorbike rider after the accident.
Meanwhile, an Indian national Sujit Jaiswal died in a fire that broke out from an electric heater at Panauti municipality of the district on Sunday night.
He had been involved in construction works in the area.
