The yearly award carrying a purse of Rs 100,000 was set up in memory of the late Hem Bahadur Malla who is considered an outstanding administrator and manager of Salt Trading Corporation.[break]
On the occasion, Dr Yadav praised the late Malla as an excellent administrator and social worker who contributed to the country through his works.
“We should learn from his qualities and strengths and try to work for the country,” the President said.
Recalling Malla´s contribution to rural areas by making iodine salt available there, Dr Yadav said, "All should respect Malla who always worked with leaders and common people." RSS
