“125 throat swab samples were tested for COVID-19, of which 17 samples turned out to be positive,” said Dr Nira Patak, Chief Lab Pathologist at the hospital.

In recent days, the hospital is witnessing some serious cases of COVID-19.

With some easing in lockdown measures across the nation, community transmission of the coronavirus is feared. Local governments are still facing some sort of challenge in conducting contract tracing of the infected people. The flow of migrant workers from India has not stopped yet.
