14 small parties lend support to Oli as next PM

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: As many as fourteen fringe parties have vowed their support in favor of KP Sharman Oli as the next prime minister on Friday.

The heads of the small parties, including CPN-ML Chairman CP Mainali, who reached Oli's residence in Balkot today, expressed their support in favor of Oli saying that the next government should be formed in line with the gentleman agreement reached among the major parties recently.


"We have suggested him to form the government as per the gentleman agreement reached among the major parties," Mainali told Republica, adding, "If the NC does not agree to it, the CPN-UML should go for the majoratian process. We are with you."
