Chief of Damak Office of Madan Bhandari Highway Project, Gopal Prasad Khakurel shared that a major part of the construction of the remaining other bridges has also been completed.

The bridges over Dale, Mugu, Khudum, Morange, Nusari, Sukhani, Buddhi Sukhani, Tangting, Bayang, Teli, Bijuwa, Bakuwa and Ratuwa rivers have been completed so far.

The bridge developed over Khudumkhola is 400 meters long while the shortest ones are constructed over Dalekhola and Bakuwakhola.

Though the main structures of several bridges were completed, the project has witnessed challenges in the development of approach roads due to cumbersome processes for taking approval to fall trees.

"Construction of all bridges has reached the final stage. But, the budget crisis has also hampered speedy construction works," he stated.
