The jeep was carrying people from a marriage ceremony. The jeep (Br.6 Pb1686) was heading to Sarpallo VDC of Mahottari from Mirchaiya VDC of Siraha district, said the Area Police Office Bardibas.[break]
Among the injured, Nageshwor Prasad Saha, 30, and Sushila Devi Saha of Mirchaiya-9 are in critical condition.
Both of them have been rushed to Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital and 11 others are being treated at Hope Hospital at Bardibas.
The jeep driver Binaya Kumar Yadav, 25, of Madhubani district of India is also being treated at the same hospital.
The jeep is impounded by the Area Police Office.
