Funds´ Vice Chairman Prof. Dr. Punya Prasad Regmi said arrangement will be made for loans to two each cooperatives in one constituency and four in each district for giving employment to youths in their constituencies.[break]
This policy was brought to protect from the accusations of distributing amounts to political workers and will not be misused if mobilized through Rastriya Banijya Bank, Agriculture Development Bank and Nepal Bank Ltd, he said.
He said Rs. 2.71 billion has been invested in the programme so far and it will be invested as per demand in the current fiscal year. He informed that the fund has targeted to make at least 50,000 people self employed in the current fiscal year.
