Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Siraha, Ram Kripal Sah, said that Rambabu Yadav, 32, of Mirchaiya Municipality-10 was injured in the incident.
The incident took place when Sah was heading towards Madar from Siraha Municipality riding a motorcycle, Sa 3 Pa 7220. Sah, who has sustained bullet injuries to his thigh, is receiving treatment at District Hospital, Siraha.
It is still unknown who opened fire at him and why. A search for those involved in the incident was underway, said Sah. RSS
