KATHMANDU, August 25: As soon as the CPN-UML returned to its old state, Yogesh Bhattarai assumed the responsibility of the party's spokesperson. He has formally assumed the responsibility of spokesperson starting Wednesday.
A meeting of the UML Standing Committee held on Tuesday agreed to revive the party's structure as it was on May 16, 2018.

Before the unification of the CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Center), Bhattarai was the party spokesperson. Pradip Gyawali was the party spokesperson till yesterday.
