POKHARA, Sept 5: A woman living at Chauthe in Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City-14 has absconded after swindling Rs 400 million from various individuals.
Police said 42-year-old Dev Kumari Bhujel, a resident of Bhatkhola in Syangja, duped 53 persons after collecting money from them for almost one and a half decade.

Pramila Ranabhat of Birauta in the town said that Bhujel cheated Rs 20 million from her adding that she found Bhujel a trusted one during the transaction for the past 15 years.
Likewise, Nirmala Sharma Parajuli of Syangja and currently living in Bagale Tole in Pokhara also claimed that Bhujel duped her Rs 9 million.
