WMMC defeated Christian Sports Fellowship 2-0 in the first semifinal match held at ANFA Technical Center, Chyasal to advance into the final. [break]
WMMC took the lead in the 35th minute through Kamal Shrestha. Rubin Shrestha, who was later adjudged the man of the match, added another goal in the 60th minute to seal the win.
In another semifinal match, NASA defeated Saraswati Youth Club 2-1 to secure a final berth. Krishna Gopal Shrestha scored in the 21st minute to give NASA an early lead. Kumar Devkota doubled the advantage in the 58th minute. However, Anil Rai snatched a consolation goal for Saraswati in the 72nd minute. Sameer Limbu of NASA was declared the man of the match.
The final match has been postponed for Friday, states a press release issued by the organizers, Church Boys Foundation.
